Bart manages to succed in making him cool, but Martin becomes too popular to make Bart smart. The day before the test Bart studies all night, but still manages to Fail the test. Bart pleads to Mrs. Krabappel to give him a passing grade...

During his speech the audience is apauled at his hairless look and pay no attention to the speech, it is a sad day for Homer.

At the peak he was invited to be a mascot for the Capital City Capitals, he gladly accepted the job, but when the time came to perform he didn't receive the expected praise.

The two duke it out on the greens and at the final hole the two are tied, when against Ned and Homer's wishes the quit and call it a draw.

Lisa has spent the last week building an accurate model of the first thanksgiving, with the pilgrims thanking the Native Americans. When Bart needs room on the table for his centerpiece (which he quickly glued together) he throws Lisa's into the fireplace, which causes her great pain, emotionally. Bart runs away from home and while he is in a shelter he is put on camera and starts feeling guilty, he returns to the house, apologieses to Lisa and thanksgiving is whole.

While watching a monster truck event, Bart is in awe when his favorite daredevil lands a great stunt. So impressed Bart begins to become a daredevil himself. The family dosn't like the idea so he is taken to see Captain Lance Murdock, his hero, who explains the dangers. Bart doesn't pay much attention and sets up a plan to jump over the Springfield Gorge, but at the last minute Homer steps in and saves the day for Bart, but not for himself.

Homer finds he only has one day to live and tries to cram everything into it, he falls asleep dictating his will and in the moring Marge finds him limp in the chair.
